Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Cream together the softened butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar until light and fluffy.
- Beat in the vanilla extract and eggs, one at a time.
- Whisk together the flour, baking soda, salt, and ground cinnamon in a separate bowl.
- Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture and mix until just combined.
- Roll the dough into balls and then roll each ball in sugar.
- Place the cookie balls on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper, spacing them apart.
- Bake for 10-12 minutes, or until the edges are lightly golden.
- Allow to cool on the baking sheet for a few minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.
Notes
For thicker cookies, chill the dough for 30 minutes. Experiment with adding nuts or chocolate chips for added flavor and texture.
