- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
- 3/4 cup granulated sugar
- 2 large eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 teaspoon almond extract
- Optional: slivered almonds for topping
Instructions
- Gather the ingredients and ensure they are high quality.
- Cream the butter and sugar together until smooth and fluffy.
- Gradually add in the almond flour, mixing until well combined.
- Add the eggs one at a time, mixing after each addition.
- Incorporate both vanilla and almond extracts into the mixture.
- Store the frangipane in an airtight container if not using immediately.
- Spread the filling inside and on top of the croissants before baking.
- Bake until golden brown and enjoy!
