Ingredients

- 1 lb ground beef (80% lean)
- 1 cup white rice
- 2 large eggs
- ¼ cup brown gravy
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Optional: finely chopped onion, minced garlic, Worcestershire sauce or soy sauce
Instructions
- Cook the rice according to package instructions.
- Form the ground beef into patties and season with salt, pepper, and optional ingredients.
- Cook the patties on a grill or skillet until they reach an internal temperature of 160°F, about 4-5 minutes per side.
- Fry the eggs sunny-side up in a separate pan.
- Assemble by placing the rice on a plate, topping it with the beef patty, the fried egg, and pouring the gravy over the top.
Notes
For a healthier option, substitute brown rice and leaner meat. Feel free to customize the protein in the patty.
