Ingredients
Scale
- 1 lime
- 2 teaspoons of sugar (preferably granulated)
- 2 ounces of cachaça
- Ice cubes
Instructions
- Prepare the lime: Cut a fresh lime into small wedges and place them in a glass.
- Add sugar: Sprinkle the sugar over the lime wedges.
- Muddle: Using a muddler or the back of a spoon, gently crush the lime and sugar together to release the juice and blend with the sugar.
- Pour the cachaça: Add cachaça to the glass, filling it to about halfway.
- Add ice: Top the mixture with ice cubes, preferably crushed.
- Stir: Mix everything until well combined, allowing the sugar to dissolve and let the lime float in the drink.
Notes
