Description

A delightful mousse slice that combines creamy coconut and refreshing guava flavors, topped with a glossy guava mirror glaze.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 cup coconut cream
  • 1/2 cup pink guava pulp (fresh or canned)
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1 tablespoon gelatin (or agar-agar for a vegetarian option)
  • 3 eggs (beaten)
  • 1 cup whipped cream

Instructions

  1. Dissolve gelatin in warm water and let it cool slightly.
  2. Combine coconut cream, guava pulp, and sugar in a saucepan over low heat. Stir until sugar dissolves.
  3. Gradually add the beaten eggs to the mixture, stirring constantly. Cook for about 5 minutes until thickened.
  4. Remove from heat and fold in the dissolved gelatin.
  5. Let the mixture cool before gently folding in the whipped cream.
  6. Pour the mousse into a prepared slice pan and refrigerate for at least 240 minutes or until set.

Notes

For a more impressive presentation, try pouring a glossy mirror glaze over the top before serving.
