- Powdered sugar for dusting
- Sprinkles or colored sugar (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Cream together the softened butter and granulated sugar until the mixture is light and fluffy.
- Beat in the eggs one at a time, then stir in the vanilla and almond extracts.
- Whisk together the flour, baking powder, and salt in another bowl.
- Combine the dry ingredients with the wet mixture until just blended. If desired, fold in sprinkles or colored sugar.
- Roll the dough into small balls and place them on ungreased baking sheets.
- Bake for 10-12 minutes or until the edges are lightly golden.
- Allow the cookies to cool for a few minutes, then dust them with powdered sugar before serving.
Notes
Store in an airtight container at room temperature for up to a week. They can also be frozen for up to 3 months.
