Description

A comforting Tater Tot Casserole that is easy to prepare and loved by both kids and adults.


Ingredients

  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 1 can cream of mushroom soup
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 bag frozen tater tots
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Brown the ground beef and onion in a skillet over medium heat until fully cooked. Drain excess fat.
  3. Stir in the cream of mushroom soup and season with salt and pepper.
  4. Spread the beef mixture evenly in a greased baking dish. Sprinkle the shredded cheddar cheese on top.
  5. Arrange the tater tots in an even layer over the cheese.
  6. Bake in the preheated oven for about 30-35 minutes, or until the tater tots are golden brown.

Notes

Let the casserole cool slightly before serving. It pairs beautifully with a side salad or steamed veggies. Leftovers can be stored in an airtight container for up to three days.
