- 1 pound ground beef
- 1 onion, chopped
- 1 can cream of mushroom soup
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 bag frozen tater tots
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Brown the ground beef and onion in a skillet over medium heat until fully cooked. Drain excess fat.
- Stir in the cream of mushroom soup and season with salt and pepper.
- Spread the beef mixture evenly in a greased baking dish. Sprinkle the shredded cheddar cheese on top.
- Arrange the tater tots in an even layer over the cheese.
- Bake in the preheated oven for about 30-35 minutes, or until the tater tots are golden brown.
Notes
Let the casserole cool slightly before serving. It pairs beautifully with a side salad or steamed veggies. Leftovers can be stored in an airtight container for up to three days.
