- 1 box (3 oz / 85 g) Strawberry Gelatin
- 1 cup Boiling Water
- ½ cup Cold Water
- 8 oz (225 g) Cream Cheese
- 1 cup Powdered Sugar
- 1 teaspoon Vanilla Extract
- 8 oz (225 g) Whipped Topping
- 1 package (14.3 oz / 405 g) Golden Oreo Cookies
- ¼ cup Freeze-Dried Strawberries
- ½ cup Unsalted Butter (Melted)
Instructions
- Bake your white or vanilla cake mix in a 9×13-inch baking pan according to the package directions. Once baked, let it cool completely.
- Dissolve the strawberry gelatin in boiling water, then stir in cold water.
- Poke holes in the cooled cake using a wooden spoon, then pour gelatin mixture over the cake.
- Chill the cake in the refrigerator for at least 2 hours.
- Beat cream cheese in a bowl until smooth, then add powdered sugar and vanilla extract.
- Fold in the whipped topping gently until combined.
- Spread the frosting evenly over the chilled cake.
- Process Golden Oreos and freeze-dried strawberries into a crumb.
- Toss crumbs with melted butter, then sprinkle over the frosting.
- Chill the cake for 1 hour before serving.
- Slice using a knife dipped in hot water for clean cuts.
