  • 1 box White or Vanilla Cake Mix
  • 1 box (3 oz / 85 g) Strawberry Gelatin
  • 1 cup Boiling Water
  • ½ cup Cold Water
  • 8 oz (225 g) Cream Cheese
  • 1 cup Powdered Sugar
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla Extract
  • 8 oz (225 g) Whipped Topping
  • 1 package (14.3 oz / 405 g) Golden Oreo Cookies
  • ¼ cup Freeze-Dried Strawberries
  • ½ cup Unsalted Butter (Melted)

Instructions

  1. Bake your white or vanilla cake mix in a 9×13-inch baking pan according to the package directions. Once baked, let it cool completely.
  2. Dissolve the strawberry gelatin in boiling water, then stir in cold water.
  3. Poke holes in the cooled cake using a wooden spoon, then pour gelatin mixture over the cake.
  4. Chill the cake in the refrigerator for at least 2 hours.
  5. Beat cream cheese in a bowl until smooth, then add powdered sugar and vanilla extract.
  6. Fold in the whipped topping gently until combined.
  7. Spread the frosting evenly over the chilled cake.
  8. Process Golden Oreos and freeze-dried strawberries into a crumb.
  9. Toss crumbs with melted butter, then sprinkle over the frosting.
  10. Chill the cake for 1 hour before serving.
  11. Slice using a knife dipped in hot water for clean cuts.
