Description

Delightful strawberry cheesecake turnovers with flaky puff pastry filled with creamy cheesecake and fresh strawberries.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 8 oz (225 g) cream cheese, softened
  • 1/3 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup strawberries, chopped
  • 1 package puff pastry (2 sheets)
  • 1 egg (for egg wash)
  • Powdered sugar (for dusting)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Mix the softened cream cheese, granulated sugar, and vanilla extract until smooth and creamy.
  3. Fold in the chopped strawberries for that fresh flavor!
  4. Roll out the puff pastry on a floured surface and cut it into squares.
  5. Spoon a dollop of the cheesecake mixture into the center of each square.
  6. Fold the pastry over to form a triangle and seal the edges with a fork for a nice crimped look.
  7. Brush the tops with the beaten egg to create a golden finish.
  8. Place on a baking sheet and bake for 15-20 minutes or until they’re beautifully golden brown.
  9. Let them cool slightly, then dust with powdered sugar before serving. Enjoy!

Notes

Serve warm for the best experience. Consider pairing with fresh berries or a scoop of ice cream.
