Instructions
- Preheat your oven according to the cake recipe instructions and lightly grease a baking dish.
- Combine the yellow cake mix and melted butter in a large bowl until fully incorporated.
- Transfer the crumb mixture to your prepared baking dish and press it evenly across the bottom.
- Beat together the softened cream cheese, sugar, lemon zest, vanilla extract, and salt until completely smooth and creamy.
- Spread the cream cheese mixture evenly over the prepared crust.
- Spoon the strawberry pie filling over the cream cheese layer and spread gently to cover.
