Description
A delightful, creamy dessert with layers of fresh fruit, sweet vanilla pudding, and a crunchy crust, perfect for any occasion.
Ingredients
Scale
- 2 cups crushed vanilla wafers
- 6 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
- 1 tablespoon granulated sugar (optional)
- 2 cups sliced strawberries
- 2 cups sliced bananas
- 2 cups milk
- 1 (3.4 oz) package instant vanilla pudding mix
- 1 cup whipped cream
Instructions
- In a bowl, mix together the crushed vanilla wafers, melted butter, and granulated sugar until well combined. Press the mixture into the bottom of a 9×13 inch baking dish.
- In another bowl, whisk together the milk and instant vanilla pudding mix for about 2 minutes until thickened.
- Layer half of the pudding mixture over the crust, followed by half of the sliced strawberries and bananas. Repeat these layers with the remaining pudding and fruits.
- Finish by topping everything off with a generous layer of whipped cream.
- Refrigerate for at least 120 minutes or until set. Serve cold and enjoy every spoonful!
Notes
Use ripe bananas and fresh strawberries for the best flavor. Consider adding a bit more sugar for a sweeter crust. Don’t skip the chilling time; it’s essential for setting layers.
