Description

A delightful, creamy dessert with layers of fresh fruit, sweet vanilla pudding, and a crunchy crust, perfect for any occasion.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 cups crushed vanilla wafers
  • 6 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 tablespoon granulated sugar (optional)
  • 2 cups sliced strawberries
  • 2 cups sliced bananas
  • 2 cups milk
  • 1 (3.4 oz) package instant vanilla pudding mix
  • 1 cup whipped cream

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, mix together the crushed vanilla wafers, melted butter, and granulated sugar until well combined. Press the mixture into the bottom of a 9×13 inch baking dish.
  2. In another bowl, whisk together the milk and instant vanilla pudding mix for about 2 minutes until thickened.
  3. Layer half of the pudding mixture over the crust, followed by half of the sliced strawberries and bananas. Repeat these layers with the remaining pudding and fruits.
  4. Finish by topping everything off with a generous layer of whipped cream.
  5. Refrigerate for at least 120 minutes or until set. Serve cold and enjoy every spoonful!

Notes

Use ripe bananas and fresh strawberries for the best flavor. Consider adding a bit more sugar for a sweeter crust. Don’t skip the chilling time; it’s essential for setting layers.
