- 1/4 teaspoon cream of tartar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- Green food coloring

Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 200°F (93°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Beat the egg whites in a clean bowl until frothy.
- Add the cream of tartar and continue to beat until soft peaks form.
- Gradually add the sugar, one tablespoon at a time, while beating until stiff, glossy peaks form.
- Mix in the vanilla extract and a few drops of green food coloring until you reach your desired shade.
- Transfer the meringue to a piping bag fitted with a star tip.
- Pipe meringue into tree shapes onto the prepared baking sheet.
- Sprinkle with decorations.
- Bake for about 90 to 120 minutes or until the meringues are dry and can be easily lifted off the paper.
- Turn off the oven and leave the meringues inside to cool completely.
Notes
Store meringues in an airtight container in a cool, dry place for up to a week. Avoid refrigerating them.
