Description
Delicious teriyaki shrimp served over flavorful jasmine rice, customizable with various toppings.
Ingredients
Scale
- 1/2 pound jumbo shrimp (peeled and deveined)
- 1/4 cup teriyaki sauce
- 3 cloves garlic (minced)
- Kosher salt
- Pepper
- Blackstone Sweet Teriyaki seasoning blend (optional)
- Cooking oil of choice
- 2 (8-ounce) microwave pouches Jasmine rice
- 1 large avocado (sliced)
- 1/4 cup chopped cilantro
- 2 lime wedges
- Sauce of choice: yum yum sauce, sriracha, spicy mayo, more teriyaki sauce
Instructions
- Pat the shrimp dry and place them in a bowl with the teriyaki sauce, minced garlic, kosher salt, pepper, and Sweet Teriyaki seasoning if using. Toss until well combined and let marinate for about 5 to 10 minutes.
- Preheat your skillet or Blackstone griddle to medium heat (around 400°F). Add cooking oil and then the shrimp along with the marinade. Cook for about 3 to 5 minutes, mixing a few times.
- Prepare the rice pouches in the microwave, or add uncooked rice with some water to the griddle to cook alongside the shrimp.
- Serve the rice in bowls topped with shrimp, sliced avocado, chopped cilantro, and lime wedges. Drizzle with favorite sauces.
Notes
Pat shrimp dry before marinating to ensure sauce sticks well. Adjust cooking time based on shrimp size, and feel free to add vegetables for more nutrition.
