- 1 cup Brown Sugar, packed
- ½ cup Granulated Sugar
- 2 cups All-Purpose Flour
- ½ teaspoon Salt
- 1 cup Semi-Sweet Chocolate Chips
- 1 cup Caramel Bits
- 1 teaspoon Flaky Sea Salt
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Grease a 9×13-inch baking dish and optionally line with parchment paper.
- Combine the melted butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar in a mixing bowl; whisk until smooth.
- Stir in the flour and salt until just combined.
- Fold in the chocolate chips and caramel bits evenly throughout the dough.
- Transfer the dough to the prepared baking dish, pressing it evenly into the pan.
- Bake for 25 to 30 minutes, until golden brown.
- Sprinkle flaky sea salt over the bars immediately after removing from the oven.
- Cool completely before slicing for clean cuts.
Notes
For best results, cool bars completely and refrigerate for 20 minutes before slicing. Use a hot knife for clean cuts.
