- 1 tablespoon baking powder
- 1 tablespoon sugar
- ½ teaspoon salt
- ½ cup cold unsalted butter, cut into small pieces
- ¾ cup milk or kefir
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C).
- Mix the einkorn flour, baking powder, sugar, and salt in a large bowl.
- Cut in the cold butter pieces until the mixture resembles coarse crumbs.
- Add the milk or kefir and stir gently until the dough just comes together.
- Shape the dough onto a lightly floured surface, patting it into a 1-inch thick rectangle. Cut out round biscuits.
- Bake for 12-15 minutes, or until golden brown on top.
- Enjoy the biscuits warm with butter, honey, or jam.
