Description

Quick and easy Pepperoni Pizza Quesadillas filled with gooey mozzarella, zesty pizza sauce, and savory pepperoni, all crisped to perfection.


Ingredients

  • 4 (8-inch) Flour Tortillas
  • ½ cup Shredded Mozzarella Cheese, divided
  • 1 cup Pizza Sauce, divided
  • Pepperoni Slices, quantity to taste

Instructions

  1. Heat a large skillet or griddle over medium heat on your stovetop.
  2. Place one flour tortilla flat into the preheated skillet.
  3. Immediately sprinkle ¼ cup of shredded mozzarella cheese evenly across the surface of the tortilla.
  4. Carefully spoon a few tablespoons of the pizza sauce over the melting cheese layer.
  5. Arrange your pepperoni slices in an even layer over the sauce.
  6. Place a second flour tortilla on top and press gently.
  7. Cook the quesadilla undisturbed for 3 to 4 minutes until golden brown.
  8. Slip a spatula underneath and flip the quesadilla swiftly.
  9. Cook the second side for another 3 to 4 minutes until golden and melted.
  10. Carefully slide the quesadilla onto a cutting board and let it rest for 1 minute.
  11. Slice into 4 wedges and serve immediately with remaining pizza sauce for dipping.

Notes

For extra flavor, brush garlic butter on the quesadilla after cooking and sprinkle with herbs.
