- 24 Oreo cookies, crushed
- 1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 16 oz cream cheese, softened
- 1 cup powdered sugar
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 2 cups whipped cream
- 1 cup Oreo cookie crumbs for topping
- Optional: extra Oreo cookies for garnish
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). In a bowl, mix crushed Oreo cookies and melted butter, then press the mixture into the bottom of a springform pan to form the crust. Bake for 10 minutes and let it cool.
- Beat the cream cheese until smooth. Gradually add powdered sugar and vanilla extract, mixing until well combined.
- Fold in the whipped cream gently until incorporated.
- Pour the cream cheese mixture over the cooled crust and smooth the top.
- Sprinkle Oreo cookie crumbs on top and refrigerate for at least 240 minutes, or until set.
- Garnish with extra Oreo cookies before serving, if desired.
Notes
Make sure the cream cheese is softened to avoid lumps. You can add more powdered sugar for a sweeter cheesecake.
