Ingredients

  • 24 Oreo cookies, crushed
  • 1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 16 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 2 cups whipped cream
  • 1 cup Oreo cookie crumbs for topping
  • Optional: extra Oreo cookies for garnish

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). In a bowl, mix crushed Oreo cookies and melted butter, then press the mixture into the bottom of a springform pan to form the crust. Bake for 10 minutes and let it cool.
  2. Beat the cream cheese until smooth. Gradually add powdered sugar and vanilla extract, mixing until well combined.
  3. Fold in the whipped cream gently until incorporated.
  4. Pour the cream cheese mixture over the cooled crust and smooth the top.
  5. Sprinkle Oreo cookie crumbs on top and refrigerate for at least 240 minutes, or until set.
  6. Garnish with extra Oreo cookies before serving, if desired.

Notes

Make sure the cream cheese is softened to avoid lumps. You can add more powdered sugar for a sweeter cheesecake.
