- 2 cans of high-quality tuna, drained
- 1 cup breadcrumbs
- 2 large eggs
- 2 tablespoons lemon juice
- 1/2 onion, finely chopped
- 1/4 cup fresh parsley, chopped
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Mix the tuna, breadcrumbs, eggs, lemon juice, onion, and parsley in a large bowl. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
- Form the mixture into a loaf shape and place it in a greased loaf pan.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes or until the top is golden brown and the loaf is firm to the touch.
- Combine the dry mustard, white vinegar, and sugar in a small saucepan. Stir until the sugar is fully dissolved.
- Whisk in the eggs until the mixture is smooth.
- Cook the mixture over medium heat, stirring constantly until it thickens (about 5-7 minutes).
- Remove the sauce from the heat and let it cool slightly.
Notes
