An elegant no-bake dessert combining rich dark chocolate and vibrant citrus flavors in a light, airy mousse.
Ingredients

- 100 g Dark Chocolate (60% to 72% cocoa)
- 250 ml Heavy Cream
- 2 tablespoons Sugar
- 1 teaspoon Vanilla Extract
- 1 pinch Salt
- 2 Fresh Oranges (Zest and Juice)
Instructions
- Chop the dark chocolate into small pieces and place in a microwave-safe bowl.
- Microwave in 15-second intervals, stirring until smooth.
- Let the chocolate cool to room temperature.
- Pour chilled heavy cream into a cold mixing bowl.
- Start whipping on low speed and gradually increase to medium-high until soft peaks form.
- Gently whisk fresh orange juice and zest into the cooled chocolate.
- Add one-third of the whipped cream to the chocolate mixture; fold gently.
- Incorporate the remaining whipped cream by folding until uniform.
- Line a springform pan with parchment and pour in the mousse.
- Chill in the refrigerator for a minimum of 2 hours before serving.
Notes
For a biscuit base, crush chocolate orange biscuits with melted butter and press into the bottom of the pan before pouring mousse. Optionally, add a splash of Grand Marnier for a boozy twist.
