Description

A simple, no-bake dessert that transforms layers of graham crackers and creamy vanilla pudding into a nostalgic chocolate eclair flavor.


Ingredients

  • 3 sleeves graham crackers
  • 2 packages instant vanilla pudding
  • 3 cups cold milk
  • 1 tub whipped topping
  • 3 tablespoons butter
  • 1 to 2 tablespoons milk (for topping)
  • 3 tablespoons cocoa powder
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • A pinch of salt

Instructions

  1. Line the bottom of a 9 by 13 inch pan with a layer of graham crackers.
  2. Whisk together the pudding and cold milk until thickened.
  3. Fold in the whipped topping until smooth and airy.
  4. Spread half of the pudding mixture over the graham crackers.
  5. Add another layer of graham crackers on top.
  6. Spread the remaining pudding mixture over the second cracker layer.
  7. Add the final layer of graham crackers on top.
  8. Melt butter and additional milk in a small pan, then whisk in cocoa powder, powdered sugar, and salt to make the topping.
  9. Pour the chocolate topping over the final layer and spread it evenly.
  10. Refrigerate for at least 6 hours or overnight.
  11. Slice and serve cold directly from the refrigerator.
