Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 ripe mangoes, peeled and diced
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 tablespoon gelatin
  • 3 tablespoons water
  • 1 prepared cake base (sponge or biscuit)

Instructions

  1. Dissolve the gelatin in water and let it sit for a few minutes. Then, heat it gently until fully dissolved.
  2. Blend the diced mangoes until smooth.
  3. Whip the heavy cream with sugar and vanilla extract until soft peaks form.
  4. Fold the mango puree into the whipped cream until combined.
  5. Stir the dissolved gelatin into the mango mixture, mixing well.
  6. Place the cake base in a springform pan and pour the mango mousse on top.
  7. Refrigerate for at least 240 minutes or until set.
  8. Garnish with fresh mango slices and mint leaves before serving.

Notes

Ensure mangoes are ripe for the best flavor. Use high-quality heavy cream for a richer mousse.
