Keto Musketeer Candy

  • Author: ruth-martha

  • Yield: 8 servings 1x
  • Diet: Keto

Description

A light, fluffy, and chocolatey low-carb treat inspired by the classic 3 Musketeers candy bar.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 cup heavy whipping cream
  • 4 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 3 tablespoons unsweetened cocoa powder
  • ⅓ cup powdered keto sweetener
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup sugar-free chocolate chips
  • 1 tablespoon coconut oil or butter

Instructions

  1. Prepare the Chocolate Base: Place the softened cream cheese into a large mixing bowl. Beat until completely smooth and creamy. Add cocoa powder, powdered keto sweetener, and vanilla extract. Continue mixing until fully incorporated and no lumps remain.
  2. Whip the Heavy Cream: Pour the heavy whipping cream into a chilled mixing bowl. Using an electric mixer, whip on medium-high speed until stiff peaks form. Avoid over-whipping.
  3. Fold Everything Together: Using a rubber spatula, gently fold the whipped cream into the chocolate mixture until no white streaks remain.
  4. Freeze the Filling: Line a small square dish or loaf pan with parchment paper. Spread the chocolate mixture evenly to approximately 1 inch thick. Freeze for 30–45 minutes until firm enough to slice.
  5. Cut into Candy Bars: Remove the frozen filling. Lift it from the pan using the parchment paper. Slice into 8 equal rectangles. Place back into the freezer for another 15 minutes.
  6. Melt the Chocolate: Combine sugar-free chocolate chips and coconut oil. Microwave in 20-second intervals, stirring until smooth and glossy.
  7. Coat the Bars: Working one bar at a time, dip each frozen rectangle into the melted chocolate. Allow excess chocolate to drip off and transfer onto parchment paper.
  8. Let Them Set: Refrigerate the coated bars for about 15 minutes until the chocolate hardens completely.

Notes

Keep everything cold for easier dipping and a better texture. Use powdered sweetener for a smooth filling.
