Description

Deliciously thick cookies with a crispy edge and soft, gooey center, generously packed with chocolate chunks.


Ingredients

  • 2 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • 2 large eggs
  • 2 cups chocolate chunks

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Whisk together the flour and baking soda; set aside.
  3. Cream together the butter, brown sugar, granulated sugar, and salt until light and fluffy.
  4. Beat in the eggs one at a time, then mix in the vanilla.
  5. Blend in the dry ingredients until just combined.
  6. Fold in the chocolate chunks.
  7. Drop large spoonfuls of dough onto a lined baking sheet.
  8. Bake for 12-15 minutes or until the edges are golden.
  9. Cool on the baking sheet for a few minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.
