Description

A comforting and flavorful lasagna recipe featuring turkey sausage, rich cheeses, and homemade marinara sauce.


Ingredients

  • 12 lasagna noodles
  • 1 pound turkey sausage
  • 15 ounces ricotta cheese
  • 8 ounces goat cheese, crumbled
  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 cups marinara sauce
  • Fresh basil, for garnish
  • Fresh parsley, chopped for cheese mixture

Instructions

  1. Cook the lasagna noodles in salted water until al dente. Drain and lay flat on a baking sheet.
  2. Brown the turkey sausage in a skillet until fully cooked; break into small pieces.
  3. Mix the ricotta, goat cheese, Parmesan, and chopped herbs in a bowl.
  4. Spread a thin layer of marinara sauce on the bottom of a baking dish.
  5. Layer lasagna noodles over the sauce, overlapping slightly.
  6. Add a portion of the cheese mixture over the noodles, followed by a layer of cooked sausage.
  7. Repeat layers of sauce, noodles, cheese, and sausage until all ingredients are used, finishing with noodles topped with marinara sauce and Parmesan.
  8. Cover with foil and bake at 375°F (190°C) for 30 minutes, then uncover and bake for an additional 15 minutes.
  9. Let the lasagna rest for 10 minutes before slicing.
