- 12 lasagna noodles
- 1 pound turkey sausage
- 15 ounces ricotta cheese
- 8 ounces goat cheese, crumbled
- 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 2 cups marinara sauce
- Fresh basil, for garnish
- Fresh parsley, chopped for cheese mixture
Instructions
- Cook the lasagna noodles in salted water until al dente. Drain and lay flat on a baking sheet.
- Brown the turkey sausage in a skillet until fully cooked; break into small pieces.
- Mix the ricotta, goat cheese, Parmesan, and chopped herbs in a bowl.
- Spread a thin layer of marinara sauce on the bottom of a baking dish.
- Layer lasagna noodles over the sauce, overlapping slightly.
- Add a portion of the cheese mixture over the noodles, followed by a layer of cooked sausage.
- Repeat layers of sauce, noodles, cheese, and sausage until all ingredients are used, finishing with noodles topped with marinara sauce and Parmesan.
- Cover with foil and bake at 375°F (190°C) for 30 minutes, then uncover and bake for an additional 15 minutes.
- Let the lasagna rest for 10 minutes before slicing.
