- 2 to 3 tablespoons hot water (around 175°F)
- ½ cup water (for lavender syrup)
- ½ cup sugar (for lavender syrup)
- 1 tablespoon dried lavender
- ¾ cup cold oat milk (preferably barista blend)
- Ice (crushed or cubed)
- Optional sweeteners (agave syrup, maple syrup, honey)
- Optional: Vanilla extract
Instructions
- Prepare the Matcha: Sift matcha powder into a bowl. Add hot water and whisk until frothy.
- Make the Lavender Syrup: Combine water, sugar, and dried lavender in a saucepan. Simmer until sugar dissolves, then strain and cool.
- Combine the Ingredients: Fill a glass with ice. Add lavender syrup and oat milk, then pour in the whisked matcha.
- Stir gently to mix the flavors, and enjoy your refreshing drink!
Notes
For a creamier texture, use barista blend oat milk. Adjust sweetness to taste with optional sweeteners.
