  • 2 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 2 tbsp mustard
  • 1 tbsp brown sugar
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • Soft buns, for serving
  • Optional toppings: shredded cheese, pickles

Instructions

  1. Heat a skillet over medium heat and add oil.
  2. Add the chopped onions, bell pepper, and garlic; sauté until softened.
  3. Stir in the ground beef and cook until browned.
  4. Mix in the tomato paste, Worcestershire sauce, mustard, and brown sugar.
  5. Season with salt and pepper; let simmer for 20-30 minutes.
  6. Toast the buns and then spoon the Sloppy Joe mixture onto each bun.
  7. Serve with optional toppings as desired.
