Ingredients

  • Fresh or dried oregano

  • Cheesecloth or fine-mesh strainer
  • Dark glass bottle for storage

Instructions

  1. Harvest fresh oregano or measure dried oregano.
  2. Crush the oregano leaves to release the oils.
  3. Place the leaves in a clean glass jar.
  4. Add carrier oil to completely cover the oregano.
  5. Seal the jar and place it in a warm, sunny spot for infusion.
  6. Strain the oil after the infusion period through cheesecloth or a fine-mesh strainer.
  7. Transfer the strained oil into a dark glass bottle for storage.
