- Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions
- Preheat the pan over medium-high heat for about 5 minutes.
- Add oil to the hot pan, tilting to coat the surface evenly.
- Place the flank steak in the pan and sear for 3-4 minutes without moving it.
- Flip the steak and cook for another 3-4 minutes for medium-rare.
- Check the internal temperature, aiming for 130°F for medium-rare.
- Remove from the pan and let it rest for 5-10 minutes before slicing.
