Description

A decadent treat combining the richness of brownies and the creaminess of cheesecake, drizzled with hot fudge.


Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup cocoa powder
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup hot fudge sauce
  • 1 cup whipped cream
  • Maraschino cherries for topping

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9-inch springform pan.
  2. Melt the butter in a mixing bowl, then stir in the granulated sugar and eggs until well combined.
  3. Add the flour, cocoa powder, vanilla extract, and salt, mixing until smooth and luscious.
  4. Pour half of the brownie batter into your prepared pan and spread it evenly.
  5. Bake for 15 minutes, then remove it from the oven.
  6. Spread the hot fudge sauce over the partially baked brownie layer, then pour the remaining brownie batter on top.
  7. Return it to the oven and bake for an additional 25-30 minutes, or until a toothpick comes out clean.
  8. Allow the cheesecake to cool completely before removing it from the springform pan.
  9. Top with whipped cream and a sprinkle of maraschino cherries before diving in!

Notes

Serve chilled. Can be topped with extra hot fudge or vanilla ice cream for added richness.
