A quick and satisfying meal featuring seasoned ground beef, sautéed onions, bell peppers, and melted provolone cheese in hoagie rolls.

- 1 pound ground beef
- 1 medium onion, thinly sliced
- 1 green bell pepper, thinly sliced
- 4 hoagie rolls
- 8 slices provolone cheese
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Olive oil for cooking
Instructions
- Heat a skillet over medium heat and add a tablespoon of olive oil.
- Add the sliced onions and bell peppers, cooking until softened.
- Increase the heat to medium-high and add the ground beef.
- Cook until browned and cooked through, breaking it up with a wooden spoon.
- Season with salt and pepper.
- Divide the beef mixture among the hoagie rolls and top each with two slices of provolone cheese.
- Place under a broiler for a minute or two until the cheese is melted.
- Serve hot.
Notes
Wrap leftovers in foil or place in an airtight container and refrigerate for 2-3 days. Reheat carefully to avoid soggy rolls.
