Description

A delightful fusion of grilled cheese and burrito, perfect for a quick lunch or dinner.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 large tortillas
  • 1 cup shredded cheese (cheddar, mozzarella, or your choice)
  • 1 tablespoon butter
  • Optional fillings (such as cooked bacon, turkey, or vegetables)

Instructions

  1. Heat a skillet over medium heat.
  2. Place one tortilla in the skillet and sprinkle half of the cheese evenly over it.
  3. Add any optional fillings if desired.
  4. Top with the second tortilla.
  5. Cook until the bottom tortilla is golden brown, then carefully flip the burrito.
  6. Add butter to the skillet and cook the other side until golden and the cheese is melted.
  7. Remove from the skillet, slice in half, and serve hot.

Notes

For a crispy exterior, be patient when cooking on medium heat to allow cheese to melt thoroughly.
