- 1 cup All-Purpose Flour
- ½ cup Cocoa Powder
- 1 teaspoon Baking Powder
- ¼ teaspoon Salt
- 4 Large Eggs
- 1 cup Granulated Sugar
- ¼ cup Vegetable Oil
- 1 teaspoon Vanilla Extract
- ½ cup Caramel Sauce
- ½ cup Pecan Halves, finely chopped
- ½ cup Heavy Cream
- 1 cup Semi-Sweet Chocolate Chips
- Extra Pecan Halves for garnish
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and prepare a baking sheet.
- Sift together the flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, and salt.
- Combine the eggs and sugar and beat until fluffy.
- Add vegetable oil and vanilla, mixing until incorporated.
- Fold in the dry ingredients and spread the batter in the baking sheet.
- Bake for 12 to 15 minutes until a toothpick comes out clean.
- Roll the hot cake with parchment paper and let cool.
- Unroll the cake and spread caramel sauce and chopped pecans.
- Roll the cake back up and place seam-side down.
- Simmer heavy cream and pour over chocolate chips to make ganache.
- Pour ganache over the cake and garnish with whole pecans.
- Chill before slicing and serve.

For best results, use room temperature eggs and high-quality ingredients.
