- 2 cups heavy cream
- 1 cup brewed coffee
- 1 cup crushed gingerbread cookies
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 teaspoon ground ginger
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1/2 teaspoon nutmeg
- 1 tablespoon gelatin
- 1/4 cup cold water
- Chocolate or shiny glaze for topping
Instructions
- Combine cold water and gelatin in a bowl. Let it sit for 5 minutes until softened.
- Heat brewed coffee, sugar, and spices in a saucepan until warm. Add the gelatin mixture and stir until dissolved.
- Whip the heavy cream in a separate bowl until soft peaks form.
- Fold in the coffee mixture and crushed gingerbread cookies.
- Pour the mousse into dome molds and refrigerate for at least 240 minutes or until set.
- Carefully unmold the mousse domes and top them with glaze or a chocolate shell.
- Serve chilled and enjoy your festive dessert!
