Description
A giant peanut butter pie topped with luscious chocolate and real Reese’s Peanut Butter Cups, perfect for any occasion.
Ingredients
Scale
- 2 1/2 cups chocolate cookie crumbs (like Oreos, crushed)
- 1/2 cup melted butter
- 1 1/2 cups creamy peanut butter
- 225 g cream cheese, softened
- 1 cup powdered sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 1/2 cups whipped topping (or whipped cream)
- 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
- 1/2 cup heavy cream
- 1–2 cups chopped Reese’s Peanut Butter Cups
- Chocolate drizzle (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Mix the chocolate cookie crumbs and melted butter. Press the mixture into the bottom of a pie dish to form the crust.
- Bake the crust in the preheated oven for 10 minutes, then let it cool.
- In another bowl, mix together the creamy peanut butter, softened cream cheese, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract until smooth. Fold in the whipped topping until well combined.
- Pour the peanut butter filling into the cooled crust, spreading it evenly.
- In a small saucepan over low heat, combine the chocolate chips and heavy cream. Stir until the chocolate is melted and the mixture is smooth.
- Pour the chocolate topping over the peanut butter filling.
- Garnish with chopped Reese’s Peanut Butter Cups and a chocolate drizzle if desired.
- Refrigerate for at least 240 minutes before slicing and serving.
Notes
Make sure the cream cheese is softened to room temperature for easy mixing. For an extra chocolatey flavor, use dark chocolate chips in the ganache topping.
