- 1 1/2 cups creamy peanut butter
- 3/4 cup powdered sugar
- 4 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
- 8 ounces dark or milk chocolate, chopped
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Instructions
- Combine the creamy peanut butter, powdered sugar, melted butter, and vanilla extract until smooth and creamy.
- Melt the chopped chocolate in the microwave or over a double boiler, stirring until it’s silky and smooth.
- Pour half of the melted chocolate into a greased round cake pan, spreading it evenly across the bottom.
- Let the chocolate set slightly in the refrigerator for a bit.
- Spread the luscious peanut butter mixture over the chocolate layer.
- Pour the remaining melted chocolate over the peanut butter layer, smoothing it out evenly.
- Refrigerate for at least 120 minutes or until it’s fully set.
- Remove from the pan, slice into generous portions, and enjoy your giant peanut butter cup!
