Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 2 cups peeled and diced apples
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup powdered sugar (for glaze)
  • 12 tablespoons milk (for glaze)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a loaf pan.
  2. Combine flour, sugar, baking powder, cinnamon, and salt in a large bowl.
  3. Mix melted butter, eggs, milk, and vanilla in another bowl.
  4. Gradually add the wet ingredients to the dry mixture, stirring until just combined.
  5. Fold in the diced apples gently.
  6. Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan and smooth the top.
  7. Bake for 50-60 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
  8. Allow it to cool for a few minutes before transferring to a wire rack.
  9. Whisk together powdered sugar and milk until smooth, then drizzle over the cooled bread.
