Description

A comforting and delicious dumpling ramen bowl combining flavorful broth, tender dumplings, fresh spinach, and ramen noodles, topped with a soft-boiled egg.

Ingredients

  • Frozen dumplings
  • Instant ramen noodles
  • Eggs
  • Fresh spinach
  • Chicken broth
  • Soy sauce
  • Sesame oil
  • Green onions
  • Black sesame seeds

Instructions

  1. Bring a pot of water to a boil and carefully add eggs. Cook for 6–7 minutes for soft-boiled eggs. Transfer eggs to an ice water bath and let cool before peeling and halving.
  2. In a large pot, bring chicken broth to a simmer. Add soy sauce and sesame oil, stirring to combine.
  3. Add frozen dumplings to the simmering broth. Cook for 8–10 minutes or until dumplings float.
  4. Add instant ramen noodles and cook for 2–3 minutes until tender.
  5. Add spinach and let wilt for 1–2 minutes.
  6. Divide into serving bowls, ladle broth over each, and top with halved eggs, sliced green onions, and black sesame seeds.

Notes

For a spicy kick, add chili oil or a sprinkle of furikake. Consider using homemade dumplings for added flavor.
