Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 box yellow cake mix (plus eggs, oil, and water as required)
  • 1 box instant vanilla pudding mix
  • 2 cups cold milk
  • 1 cup chocolate chips or chopped chocolate
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • Optional: a pinch of salt, splash of vanilla extract

Instructions

  1. Bake the cake in a 9×13 pan according to the cake mix box directions. Let it cool for about 15 to 20 minutes.
  2. Poke holes all over the cake using the handle of a wooden spoon.
  3. Mix the pudding with cold milk in a bowl. Whisk until smooth.
