- 200g dark chocolate
- 4 large eggs
- 100g sugar
- 1/2 cup heavy cream
- 1/2 teaspoon cayenne pepper
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- Pinch of salt
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and line a cake pan.
- Melt the dark chocolate in a double boiler.
- In a bowl, whisk the eggs and sugar together until pale and fluffy.
- Add the melted chocolate to the egg mixture and mix well.
- In another bowl, whip the heavy cream until soft peaks form.
- Gently fold the whipped cream into the chocolate mixture.
- Add cayenne pepper, vanilla extract, and a pinch of salt; mix until well combined.
- Pour the mixture into the prepared cake pan and bake for 25-30 minutes, or until set.
- Let it cool before serving.
Notes
Dust with cocoa powder or serve with whipped cream for an extra touch. Store in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to a week.
