Description

Indulge in these delightful creamy mango mousse cups that combine the natural sweetness of mangoes with a rich and fluffy texture, perfect for tropical flavor lovers.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 cups fresh mango puree (from about 3 ripe mangoes)
  • 1 cup heavy whipping cream, cold
  • 1/2 cup sweetened condensed milk
  • 4 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 tbsp lemon or lime juice
  • 1 tsp unflavored gelatin + 2 tbsp warm water (optional for extra stability)
  • Fresh diced mango (for topping)
  • Mint leaves (for topping)
  • Whipped cream (optional, for topping)

Instructions

  1. Mix the gelatin with warm water and let it bloom for 5 minutes if using.
  2. Blend the mango flesh until completely smooth to make a creamy mango puree.
  3. Beat the cream cheese until smooth and fluffy. Add the sweetened condensed milk, vanilla, and lemon juice.
  4. Mix in the mango puree until fully combined. Stir in the bloomed gelatin for a firmer texture if desired.
  5. Whip the heavy cream until soft peaks form.
  6. Fold the whipped cream into the mango mixture until light and airy.
  7. Spoon or pipe the mango mousse into serving glasses and chill for at least 2 hours until set.
  8. Top with fresh mango cubes, mint leaves, and a swirl of whipped cream before serving.

Notes

Use ripe mangoes for best flavor; don’t overwhip the cream to maintain light texture.
