- 2 chicken breasts
- 8 oz pasta (fettuccine or penne)
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh parsley for garnish
Instructions
- Cook the pasta according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
- Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Season chicken breasts with salt and pepper, and add to the skillet. Cook until golden and cooked through, about 6–7 minutes per side. Remove and slice.
- Add minced garlic to the same skillet and sauté for 1 minute.
- Pour in heavy cream and bring to a simmer. Stir in Parmesan cheese until melted and smooth.
- Add cooked pasta and sliced chicken to the sauce, tossing to combine. Stir in Italian seasoning and adjust seasoning with salt and pepper.
- Serve hot, garnished with fresh parsley.
Notes
For a thicker sauce, let it simmer longer after adding the parmesan. Experiment with additional herbs or spices to customize flavor.
