Description
This Blueberry Cheesecake Smoothie is a delightful treat that combines the flavors of sweet blueberries and creamy cheesecake.
Ingredients
Scale
- 1 cup frozen blueberries (150 g)
- 1/2 ripe banana
- 1 tbsp chia seeds
- 1/2 cup Greek yogurt (120 g)
- 2 oz cream cheese, softened (56 g)
- 1 cup milk of choice (240 ml)
- 1 tsp ground cinnamon
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1 tbsp honey or maple syrup (optional)
- 1 cup ice cubes
Instructions
- Begin by adding the frozen blueberries, banana, chia seeds, Greek yogurt, cream cheese, milk, cinnamon, vanilla extract, and honey to a blender.
- Blend at high speed until the mixture is smooth and creamy.
- Next, add the ice cubes and blend again until the smoothie is thick and frosty.
- Allow the smoothie to sit for about 2 minutes so that the chia seeds can thicken the mixture slightly.
- Pour the smoothie into glasses and garnish with fresh blueberries and a sprinkle of chia seeds. Serve immediately and enjoy!
Notes
For extra creaminess, use full-fat cream cheese and Greek yogurt. Adjust the sweetness by adding more honey or syrup if desired. Consider adding spinach for an extra nutrient boost.
