Description

This Blueberry Cheesecake Smoothie is a delightful treat that combines the flavors of sweet blueberries and creamy cheesecake.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 cup frozen blueberries (150 g)
  • 1/2 ripe banana
  • 1 tbsp chia seeds
  • 1/2 cup Greek yogurt (120 g)
  • 2 oz cream cheese, softened (56 g)
  • 1 cup milk of choice (240 ml)
  • 1 tsp ground cinnamon
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 tbsp honey or maple syrup (optional)
  • 1 cup ice cubes

Instructions

  1. Begin by adding the frozen blueberries, banana, chia seeds, Greek yogurt, cream cheese, milk, cinnamon, vanilla extract, and honey to a blender.
  2. Blend at high speed until the mixture is smooth and creamy.
  3. Next, add the ice cubes and blend again until the smoothie is thick and frosty.
  4. Allow the smoothie to sit for about 2 minutes so that the chia seeds can thicken the mixture slightly.
  5. Pour the smoothie into glasses and garnish with fresh blueberries and a sprinkle of chia seeds. Serve immediately and enjoy!

Notes

For extra creaminess, use full-fat cream cheese and Greek yogurt. Adjust the sweetness by adding more honey or syrup if desired. Consider adding spinach for an extra nutrient boost.
