- 1 cup whole milk

- 2 cups heavy whipping cream
- 1/2 cup powdered sugar
- 8 oz cream cheese, softened
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1/2 cup white chocolate chips
- 1/4 cup heavy cream
- 2 tbsp orange marmalade
- Fresh strawberries
- Fresh cherries
- Mandarin orange slices
- Blueberries
- Fresh mint leaves
- Gold sanding sugar or cake crumbs for the base
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F. Grease and line two 8-inch cake pans with parchment paper.
- Whisk together the flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt in a large bowl.
- Add in the softened butter, eggs, milk, and vanilla extract, beating until smooth and fluffy.
- Divide the batter evenly between the prepared pans and bake for 28–32 minutes, or until a toothpick comes out clean.
- Allow the cakes to cool completely before frosting.
- Beat the cream cheese until smooth; add powdered sugar and vanilla, then fold in the whipped cream until fluffy.
- Frost between the cake layers and around the outside for a smooth finish.
- Chill the cake for 20 minutes before adding the drip.
- Heat the heavy cream until steaming, pour over the white chocolate chips, and stir until smooth.
- Add orange marmalade for a glossy citrus-flavored drip.
- Spoon the drip around the edges, allowing drips to fall down the sides.
- Pipe whipped frosting swirls around the top, and decorate with fruits and mint.
- Chill briefly before slicing for clean layers.
Notes
Use softened butter and cream cheese for easy blending. Arrange fruit decorations just before serving.
