  • 16 Nature Valley™ crunchy granola bars Oats ‘n Honey, crushed
  • 1/2 cup butter, melted
  • 2/3 cup sugar
  • 2 (8 oz.) blocks cream cheese, softened
  • 1 (14 oz.) can sweetened condensed milk
  • 1 (8 oz.) container extra creamy whipped topping
  • 1/2 teaspoon pure almond extract
  • 1 tablespoon spiced rum or vanilla
  • 1/3 cup Betty Crocker™ Decorating Decors nonpareils (red, white, and green)
  • Nonstick baking spray

Instructions

  1. Mix the crushed granola bars, melted butter, and sugar in a large bowl until well blended.
  2. Press half of this mixture into a 9×9-inch baking pan that you’ve generously sprayed with nonstick baking spray.
  3. Combine the softened cream cheese, sweetened condensed milk, whipped topping, almond extract, and rum in a mixer.
  4. Beat these ingredients until the mixture becomes smooth.
  5. Fold in the nonpareils, setting aside about 1 teaspoon for later.
  6. Spread the creamy mixture evenly over the granola crust in the baking pan.
  7. Top with the remaining granola bar mixture and sprinkle the reserved nonpareils on top.
  8. Cover with plastic wrap and place in the freezer until firm, about 240-360 minutes.

Notes

For best results, ensure that the cream cheese is at room temperature to avoid lumps. Store in the freezer and consume within two weeks for optimal freshness.
