- 1 cup dark chocolate, chopped
- ½ cup unsalted butter
- 2 large eggs
- 2 large egg yolks
- ½ cup granulated sugar
- ¼ cup all-purpose flour
- ¼ teaspoon salt
- Butter and cocoa powder for greasing ramekins
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 425°F (220°C). Butter and dust with cocoa powder four ramekins.
- Combine chopped chocolate and butter in a microwave-safe bowl. Microwave in 30-second intervals, stirring in between, until melted and smooth.
- Whisk together eggs, egg yolks, and sugar in a separate bowl until pale and fluffy.
- Stir the melted chocolate mixture into the egg mixture until well combined.
- Add the flour and salt, mixing gently until just combined.
- Pour the batter evenly into the prepared ramekins.
- Bake for 12-14 minutes until the edges are firm but the center is soft.
- Let cool for 1 minute, then invert onto plates. Serve immediately.
Notes
Serve immediately with a dusting of powdered sugar or a scoop of vanilla ice cream. Store leftovers in the refrigerator and reheat before serving.
