Description

A delightful dessert combining rich chocolate and fresh strawberries with a crunchy cookie crust.


Ingredients

  • 2 cups chocolate sandwich cookie crumbs
  • 6 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 tablespoon granulated sugar
  • 2 cups fresh strawberries, hulled and halved
  • 1 cup whipped cream
  • 1 cup chocolate ganache

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Combine chocolate sandwich cookie crumbs, melted butter, and granulated sugar until well blended.
  3. Press the mixture firmly into the bottom and up the sides of a pie pan to form the crust.
  4. Bake the crust for 10 minutes, then remove and let cool.
  5. Layer the fresh strawberries evenly on the bottom of the crust.
  6. Pour the chocolate ganache over the strawberries, ensuring they are completely covered.
  7. Refrigerate for at least 120 minutes to allow the ganache to set.
  8. Top with whipped cream and additional strawberries if desired before serving.
