Ingredients

- 1 pound Ground Beef or Ground Turkey
- 1 packet Taco Seasoning
- ⅔ cup Water
- 1 package Breadsticks
- 2 cups Shredded Cheese
- Sour Cream (for serving)
- Chopped Green Onions (for serving)
Instructions
- Brown and season the meat by heating a skillet and cooking the ground beef or turkey for 6 to 8 minutes.
- Drain any excess fat from the meat.
- Pour in the taco seasoning and water, stirring to coat, then simmer for 5 minutes.
- Preheat the oven as per breadstick package instructions.
- Arrange the breadsticks on a baking sheet and par-bake until puffed and pale golden.
- Distribute the taco meat over the par-baked breadsticks.
- Shower with shredded cheese and return to the oven, baking for an additional 3 to 5 minutes.
- Remove from the oven, cool for 2 minutes, then drizzle with sour cream and sprinkle with green onions before serving.
Notes
For a vegetarian version, swap the meat for black beans or a plant-based alternative.
