Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 cups baby broccoli
  • 1 onion, sliced
  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon oyster sauce
  • 1 tablespoon sugar
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • Cooking oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Cooked rice for serving

Instructions

  1. Heat oil in a pan over medium-high heat.
  2. Add the sliced onion and stir-fry until translucent.
  3. Add the ground beef, breaking it up, and cook until browned.
  4. Stir in garlic and cook for an additional minute.
  5. Add the baby broccoli and stir-fry for about 3-4 minutes until tender but crisp.
  6. Pour in soy sauce, oyster sauce, and sugar. Stir well to combine for another 2 minutes.

Notes

Maximize flavor by allowing the beef to caramelize fully. Avoid overcooking the baby broccoli to retain its crunch.
