- 2 cups graham cracker crumbs
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 1 cup sugar
- 2 (8 oz) packages cream cheese, softened
- 2 large eggs
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 2 cups peeled and chopped apples
- 1 cup caramel sauce
- 1/2 tsp cinnamon
- 1/2 cup chopped nuts (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 325°F (160°C). Grease a 9×13 inch baking dish.
- Combine the graham cracker crumbs and melted butter in a bowl. Press into the bottom of the prepared baking dish.
- Beat the sugar and cream cheese until smooth in a large mixing bowl. Add the eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition, then add the vanilla extract.
- Fold in the chopped apples, cinnamon, and optional nuts.
- Pour the cheesecake mixture over the crust. Drizzle caramel sauce on top and swirl it gently with a knife.
- Bake for 35-40 minutes until the center is set. Let cool and refrigerate for at least 4 hours before serving.
Notes
Serve these bars with extra caramel sauce or powdered sugar for added sweetness.
