Ingredients

- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/2 cup cocoa powder
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1/4 cup milk
- 1/4 cup vegetable oil
- 2 large eggs
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 1/2 tsp baking soda
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- Chocolate glaze (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Combine flour, cocoa powder, sugar, baking powder, baking soda, and salt in a mixing bowl.
- Add milk, vegetable oil, eggs, and vanilla extract, and mix until smooth.
- Pour the batter into a greased donut pan, filling each cavity about 2/3 full.
- Bake for 10-12 minutes, or until a toothpick comes out clean.
- Cool the donuts for a few minutes before transferring them to a wire rack.
- Glaze with chocolate glaze if desired.
Notes
For lower calories, consider baking instead of frying and using sugar substitutes.
